Digital Scrapbooking Goes Premiere

Now that the holidays are over, I am sure you have plenty of photos sitting on memory cards just waiting to be taken care of.  Now you can either take them to your local photo printing retailer, get the photos printed and slide them into an ordinary photo album.  Or you could create a photobook of your pictures and share the stories behind the smiles and torn wrapping paper.

  • I'd like some advice here Patty. As you know, Julie is the photographer in our family, and we have thousands and thousands of photos on her hard drive (well backed up!).

    I have this feeling we should be keeping them somewhere in the cloud, but where? Flickr? Other places? Somewhere we can share them easily with friends and family? What's your advice?

    Anyone else?
  • If you are looking to store your collection of photos and perhaps create some storybooks with your pictures than I would recommend getting the Club Premier.
    Otherwise I would recommend purchasing a Pro account from either Flickr or Photobucket. I have a Pro account with Photobucket that I use as a third backup for all of my photos. I also have the account set to private so that my photos do not get used online or downloaded without my permission.
    I also have a basic account with Flickr for sharing photos with others and participating in various Forums and Groups. Again I have my photos protected so that they can not easily be downloaded.
