The Photographer
The Photographer
I can remember as a child, sitting on the floor in front of the bookshelf, spending hours looking through all the photo albums. I loved looking at all the photographs and remembering those moments over and over again.
My first camera was a 110 Instamatic. Remember those? When I was 10 years old I got to travel for a month to Texas and back to spend time with family over the summer and attend a summer camp for a week. Oh the photos I took. I had so much fun snapping pictures of new friends at camp, the double full rainbow from a monsoon in New Mexico and the vast greatness of the Grand Canyon.
And then you grow up and start a family. Only my family was immediately made smaller with the death of my first husband when our daughter was but 10 weeks old. We were so busy being first time parents that we never stopped to get a family photograph. Lesson learned: you have to capture those moments when they happen because you don’t get a second chance. To say I became obsessed with capturing every moment I could is an understatement.
And so my passion for photography was born again. And now I want to help others capture those once in a lifetime moments: whether it be by teaching you how to use their camera and take better photographs or by using my skills as a Professional Photographer to record the moments for you. It doesn’t matter, the important thing is to capture your memories before the moment is gone forever.
